Bill O'Reilly

Bill O’Reilly

Things are not looking good for Bill O’Reilly to return to his Fox News television show. A source reports to CNN that reps for the network have been discussing an exit strategy, but sources in his camp denied the rumor. To add to the already existing sexual harassment suits that have settled, yesterday 21st Century Fox received an anonymous complaint against the host from a black female employee claiming he referred to her as “Hot Chocolate” in 2008. The host began a pre-planned vacation to Italy last week and since then guest hosts are filling in for him. However, they are not able to draw the viewership he can; ratings dropped significantly when his fill-in hosts took over the mic. Another option Fox is reportedly mulling over is giving him a new deal that gives the network “more leverage over him regarding his behavior.” So far, “no decision has been made” about his future.

Former President George H.W. Bush was hospitalized over the Easter weekend for a “mild case” of pneumonia. It reportedly has passed, but he remains at Houston Methodist Hospital “for further observation while he regains his strength.” This come after he was hospitalized in January for bronchitis. His office reported that he is said to be “in very good spirits.”

Kevin-Spacey-Golden-Globes-#2-2014Love the pic! Kevin Spacey is set to host the Tony Awards this year. Organizers made the announcement yesterday in advance of the June 11 ceremony. This will mark the first time he is hosting the Tonys, which were previously hosted by Neil Patrick Harris and Hugh Jackman.

Richard Simmons has also been hospitalized…apparently he was “battling severe indigestion and discomfort while eating” and his rep said they agreed it would be best for him to seek treatment. He, too, is “already feeling better and is expected to make a full recovery.”

Have a wonderful Hump Day!
