The 71st Annual Tony Awards, hosted by the amazing Kevin Spacey, saw “Dear Evan Hansen” snap up six trophies, including Best Musical. “Hello Dolly” followed with four honors, including Best Revival of a Musical and “Oslo” snagged two, including Best Play. August Wilson’s “Jitney” scored Best Revival of a Play, Bette Midler nabbed Best Actress in a Musical for “Hello Dolly,” Ben Platt was named Best Actor in a Musical for “Dear Evan Hansen,” and Best Actress and Actor in a Play went to Laurie Metcalf for “A Doll’s House, Part 2,” and Kevin Kline for “Present Laughter.”

Roger Moore Memorial 2017The life of Sir Roger Moore was celebrated Saturday with a “beautiful services.” Friends and family paid their respects to the longest-reigning 007, who passed away from a ‘battle with cancer’ last month at the age of 89. His manager and biographer, Gareth Owen, posted this service program Sunday on his official Twitter account saying, “Yesterday we said our goodbyes in a beautiful service and celebrated a wonderful life.” Joan Collins was in attendance, and following the news, Pierce Brosnan lauded him as “magnificent” while Sir Sean Connery noted he will “miss” the actor, who was “filled with jokes and laughter.” And Daniel Craig capped it off nicely, saying, “Nobody Does it Better,” referring to the theme song of “The Spy Who Loved Me.”

Filming of the “Bachelor in Paradise” in Mexico was halted this week after a sexual misconduct incident occurred on set, reports Us Weekly. Warner Bros. stated, “We have suspended production and we are conducting a thorough investigation of these allegations. Once the investigation is complete, we will take appropriate responsive action.” The new season was set to premiere on ABC on Aug. 8, but it is not clear when production will resume.
