Celebrity Scoops…updated Tuesday, 8.29.17

Kevin Hart Hurricane Harvey Challenge 2017Comedian Kevin Hart turned serious as he challenged his fellow celebs to donate relief funds for those in need from Hurricane Harvey. The actor shared a video on Instagram last night and said, “Serious moment right now. I’ve just been caught up to speed with everything that’s going on in Houston and this s*** is unbelievable. I think we’ve participated in a lot of challenges on the internet. Some meaningful, some meaningless, but we’ve all done ‘em. I’ve been a person who’s partaken in several of them. At this point, I’m going to start a real challenge. I’m challenging a lot of my celebrity friends to follow my lead and donate $25,000 to Hurricane Harvey to the Red Cross. At this point, this is a serious matter. I think that people are in bad shape and they need help. I’m going to lead the charge and step up this way.” He cited the gauntlet was down for Chris Rock, Justin Timberlake, Steve Harvey, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, Jerry Seinfeld, Jay Z and Dave Chappelle – and then asked, “when you do it, you should all tag someone else.” Way to step up, Kevin! Lots of folks need your assistance.

Kim Kardashian is taking heat for this photo shoot for this Jackie O-inspired photo shoot for Interview Magazine. The 36-year-old said she would “treasure this shoot forever,” but she sure took some flack on social media. “Instead of using this as an avenue to show that we r racially diverse but still one, they darkened Kim’s complexion to match her daughter’s,” one user commented. Another said, “Pretty sure blackface is racist even if you’re married to one…And posing like a Kennedy? #WeAllRememberYourPorno.” Omph!!

Say some prayers for those who have lost so much in Hurricane Harvey, and count your blessings today.
