Seventy-year-old OJ Simpson has been released from Lovelock Correctional institution in Nevada after serving 8 ½ years of a 33-year robbery and kidnapping sentence. When asked at a gas station how freedom felt, he kidded, “I’ve been in a car for the last five hours…how do I know how it feels?” Despite expressing that he wants to live in Florida, an official stated he cannot leave Nevada without permission from his probation officer. And of course, he can’t own weapons or smoke marijuana (even if in a state where it’s legal) and he can’t drive drunk. His arrest for the botched robbery of sports memorabilia came 12 years after he was acquitted of killing ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman.

Hugh Hefner, 91, was laid to rest at a private funeral Saturday, reports TMZ. The intimate services was attended by Crystal Harris, 31, key staffers and his four children – Christie, 64, David, 62, Marston, 27 and Cooper, 26. As planned, the media mogul was buried at Westwood Village Memorial Park in Los Angeles next to Marilyn Monroe. He purchased the plot 25 years ago for $75,000.
