Justin Timberlake Super Bowl announcementFourteen years after the infamous ‘wardrobe malfunction’ performance with Janet Jackson, Justin Timberlake will take center stage for the Super Bowl halftime show. The 36-year-old made the announcement on social media yesterday in a sketch with Jimmy Fallon. “Do you have the time,” Fallon asked. “I have time” Timberlake responds. “You’re doing the halftime show at the Super Bowl?” Timberlake confirms the news and they start hugging and jumping around excitedly. This will mark the singer’s third time performing during the Super Bowl halftime show: once with ‘N Sync in 2001 and then with Jackson, 51, in 2004.

News broke over the weekend that Bill O’Reilly paid $32 million to Fox News’ legal analyst Lis Wiehl back in January, but Fox News offered him a $25 million renewal contract, despite the payout. The $32 million was the highest payout by far, The host lost his job in April.  According to the New York Times, Wiehl’s allegations included repeated harassment, a non-consensual sexual relationship, and the sending of gay porn and other sexually explicit material to her.” A Fox spokesperson said the network knew about a settlement but not the exact amount.

BTW – The Directors Guild of America and the Television Academy both kicked Harvey Weinstein out of their organizations in light of his unprecedented sexual harassment claims and his not taking sex-addition rehab seriously.

Chelsea HandlerFormer “Chelsea Lately” host Chelsea Handler has donated one million dollars to Puerto Rico hurricane relief. “I just gave 1,000,000 dollars to Unidos Por Puerto Rico,” she tweeted. “Where r ur donations Koch Bros., Mercers, @realDonaldTrump? Day 1 of activism.” She’s off to a good start of her new career; the 42-year-old comedian announced she’s leaving her self-titled Netflix show to focus on activism efforts. Earlier she stated her goal “is to be better informed, raise my voice, and participate in a more meaningful way. I want to travel the country and visit areas and people I don’t know enough about…and gain a better understanding of our political divide.”
