ryan-seacrest-oscars-2016Ryan Seacrest is denying sexual misconduct claims made by a former wardrobe stylist who worked at E! News with the “Live with Kelly and Ryan” host, reports The Hollywood Reporter. “Recently someone that worked as a wardrobe stylist for me nearly a decade ago at E! News came forward with a complaint suggesting I behaved inappropriately toward her,” the 42-year-old stated. “If I made her feel anything but respected, I am truly sorry. I dispute these reckless allegations and I plan to cooperate with any corporate inquiries that may result. I treat all my colleagues with kindness, dignity and understanding, as this is a principle that’s core to who I am.” A spokesperson for E! confirmed the network is investigating the allegations and that the alleged victim requested a substantial financial payment in exchange for her silence.

A frenzy ensued on Twitter last night as Selena Gomez returned to the stage at the AMAs just months after her kidney transplant, but critics claim she was lip syncing. Dressed in a sexy slip dress and Tiffany necklace, the 25-year-old sang her hit “Wolves” and some fired back, “If only she didn’t lip sync it.” Gomez was rocking a new blonde ‘do and thanked her fans for their support on her Instagram story. At the AMAs, Bruno Mars scored Artist of the year and Video of the year for “That’s What I like,” as well as Favorite Male Artist – Pop/Rock. Check out the full list of AMA winners here.

Jeffrey Tambor Trace Lysette TransparentJeffrey Tambor is leaving the show, “Transparent,” in which he has the leading role, after sexual harassment allegations have surfaced against him. The 73-year-old released a statement to Deadline.com, noting playing the transgender character, Maura Pfefferman, has been an honor but he could no longer continue the role. “I’ve already made clear my deep regret if any action of mine was ever misinterpreted by anyone as being aggressive, but the idea that I would deliberately harass anyone is simple and utterly untrue. Given the politicizing atmosphere that seems to have afflicted our set, I don’t see how I can return to ‘Transparent’”. Trace Lysette, a transgender actress who plays Shea on the show, claims when she emerged from wardrobe in a costume of a lingerie top and shorts, he declared, “My God, Trace. I want to attack you sexually.” She also said he once cornered her and thrust himself ‘back and forth against my body’ before she pushed him off. Amazon is investigating the claims, and Lysette is urging the company to “remove the problem and let the show go on.”

Happy Monday!
