As Billy Joel would say, “I’m Movin’ Out!” Robert Pattinson wasted no time hauling his belongings out of the home he shared with Kristen Stewart. The rumor mill is buzzing with reports Robert was just weeks away from proposing to his “Twilight” costar, but as People now reports, he is “heartbroken and angry.”
Congrats to “Franklin & Bash” and former “Saved by the Bell” star Mark-Paul Gosselar, who tied the knot with his ad exec beauty Catriona McGinn. The couple exchanged nuptials at the Sunstone winery in Santa Ynez, CA, reports People. They are now enjoying a fab honeymoon in Italy – after admitting they had plans to “eat our a**es off!”
This weekend marked the 15th annual Super Saturday in Water Mill, NY, albeit, it was super soggy! Kelly Ripa was once again hosting the event, which is a ‘designer garage sale’ that donates all net proceeds to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. Check out what she, Beth Ostrosky-Stern and Mark Feuerstein had to say to www.CelebrityEverything.com on the red carpet.
It’s not news that CNN’s ratings have been tanking for quite some time, but it is news that chairman Jim Walton announced Friday he is quitting. He also admitted the network needs new leadership at a time when ratings among the worst ever. The announcement came via an email to staff, and he said he would stay through the end of the year, while the company searched for his successor. Um, he probably could have made time to actually meet with his staff, right?
“The Dark Knight Rises” landed atop the box office for the second straight weekend in a row, raking in $64 million, which placed it just over $289 million in its first 10 days in theatres. Coming in second was the animated family film, “Ice Age: Continental Drift” with $13.3 million and 20th Century Fox’s comedy “The Watch,” starring Ben Stiller, Vince Vaughn and Jonah Hill landed third, roping in $13 million. Finishing in fourth was “Step Up Revolution” with $11.8 million, as “Ted” rounded out the top five with $7.4 million.
Charlie Sheen says he believes “Anger Management” is poised to get picked up for 90 more episodes. The prospect of continuing it is “exciting as hell,” he told reporters over the weekend. “I don’t think 90 is gonna be enough.” Part of the plan is to bring his dad Martin Sheen on as a recurring cast member playing Charlie’s father.
Have a splendid start to the week!
