He tried, but didn’t get very far…Jon Stewart tried to get Robert Pattinson to open up about his breakup with Kristin Stewart on “The Daily Show” last night, but the actor took the high road and didn’t reveal much. Stewart offered him ice cream, saying it would cheer him up and that they were “just two gals” chatting about a breakup. When Pattinson brushed off any remarks, Stewart noted that for young people going through a breakup can feel like the end of the world. Pattinson responded, “It is,” drawing a big “awwwwww” from the audience.
Kenny G is playing a sad note on his sax. The 56-year-old musician and his wife, Helene Benson-Gorelick, are getting a divorce after 20 years of marriage, reports TMZ. He filed paperwork Thursday, seeking joint custody of their 14-year-old son and requested to not pay his wife spousal support. Not getting enough ‘sax,’ Kenny?
She gets props for being bold and daring for this one…Miley Cyrus unveiled a new blonde, shaved undercut yesterday on Twitter and took some flack for it from various critics. She fired back last night, “My dad Billy Ray Cyrus used to tell me, ‘Opinions are like a**holes – everybody has one.’ Love my hair. Feel so happy, pretty and free.” She also told her seven million followers: “Never felt more me in my whole life.” Go Miley! Way to throw it back at the hatas! Your cut looks fab and chic!
After suffering a freak accident on the set of “The Good Wife” last month, actress Kristin Chenoweth is quitting the show. She was struck in the head on July 11 by a piece of lighting equipment due to a large gust of wind on the set. “It is with deep regret to inform everyone that due ot my injuries, I am unable to return to ‘The Good Wife’ at this time” she told People in a statement, adding that she’s grateful for everyone’s concern.
Under the ‘in case you care’ file…Kim Kardashian has big dreams of a lifetime of happiness with Kanye West. “You can definitely get more in-depth with someone who actually knows what you’re talking about,” she told New York Magazine in the Aug. 20 edition. “When this whole life is done, and it’s just the two of us sitting somewhere when we’re 80, you want to have things to talk about that you have in common. I think that’s something maybe I didn’t value as highly as a quality I cared about in someone.” Ah, but will he want to still hear her yammering at 80???
