FASHION ROUNDUP: FALL TRENDS FROM THE RUNWAYS
Fall and winter fashion shows are typically dominated by dark hues, but the Fashion Week 2010 collections unveiled some new twists and unexpected textures for basic blacks and even some splashes of bright colors. One recurrent theme was the metallic dresses, which were represented by just about every designer, as well as hints of bright colors, gray leggings and texturing with feathers, ruffles and faux furs, wrapped effortlessly around the body. Check out how some of the industry heavyweights flaunted these fab trends below.
Brights
Erin Fetherston, Victoria Beckham, Carolina Herrera, Carlos Miele and Rachel Roy spiced up their dark palettes with bright orange and violet hues, as well as brick red.
